All our leather dog collars and leashes are made from genuine leather. We don’t have any faux, or PU leather dog collars (PU leather is a split leather with a layer of polyurethane applied to the top surface. It is cheaper than real leather but is essentially fake as the small amount of leather underneath has an artificial layer). Faux or PU leather can sometimes irritate dog’s skin and make them sweat around the neck, unlike real leather dog collars. Look at padded/ rolled leather dog collars which are super comfy for dogs, being padded out with soft felt lining. Rolled leather dog collars are very flexible too and will literally bend with your dog’s every movement.
Leather dog leashes are available in all lengths, from really short, for extra control, right up to a massive 7ft for training leashes. You can choose from flat leather, rolled, padded at the handle, you name it, we have a leather dog leash just perfect for your dog!
